Does Alexa Dislike .me?

Does the Alexa ranking system not like the new .me domain?

I ask this question because if you try to input your .me domain in to the rankings search box.. you will get the following response.

"We're Sorry!

You have requested information for an invalid URL. Please enter an URL in the search box above to get Alexa Information."

I have tried different .me domains to see if it may just be my domain but every time I tried a new domain I received the same results. I have been trying this ever since I bought my .me domain and im still surprised that its not being recognized.

I am no expert on how the Alexa system works but I would assume it would not be difficult to add a new line of code in to the system to recognize these new domains but then again.. what do I know. Perhaps they have some secret in store and are just waiting to implement it.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you receive results when you enter in your .me domain?

** UPDATE **

A recent visitor has advised me that whois.domaintools.com will display the Alexa ranking for .me domains.

Indexed Data for PLUM.me
Alexa Trend/Rank: #856,813 The lower the rank the better.

    hi,

    I have a dot ME domain. It's myi4u.me

I am attracted to your blog and find that it is quite interesting. However, I hope that you are able to answer some of my queries. Please?

I have just registered and redirect my old domain to this new dot ME domain about two days ago. When I check on WHOIS, the details are limited, not even my website title. Do I have to wait for a few more days before the data get populated?

Thank you. Have a great day.

    Hi,

Im glad you like the blog. To answer your question it can take some time before WHOIS details update. You may want to check them again in a few days.

Thanks a lot. Your reply really give me a kind of assurance. Otherwise, I will be thinking about it day and night.

Now, I am worrying about my realrank and such. Some people say that they are intelligent enough to populate the data from my own domain to the new domain automatically. But just need to be patient.

By the way, did you join Entrecard? It's kind of a good stuff. Do join if you feel like it.

Anyway, thanks a lot. I will visit often. Have a great day.

    Your very welcome.

I have used ENTRECARD in the past but removed it as I feel as though it does not suite the blog.

FYI - We are doing a big update on the site so you may experience some down time in the next 24hrs. We will be back up and running in 24hrs or less.
